Nominations are open now for the 2008 Queensland Arbor Day Awards.
Community groups, schools, local councils, businesses and environmental groups that are actively involved in planting, maintaining and/or caring for trees to help the environment and create shade (or have been for the past two years) are eligible to be nominated for an award.
Note: Applications close on August 15.
