About
Sunshine Coast Eco News and the online version ECO online are designed to provide an independent community forum; a newspaper that intends to report on the major issues affecting our current and future lives without fear or favour.
Both publications aim to foster original thought and embrace quality communication in the vital areas of our environment and conservation.
The print version is distributed on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia with a circulation of 15,000, with special print runs up to 20,000. It is published bi-monthly (dependent on adequate funding) by the Sunshine Coast Environment Council. Sunshine Coast Eco News is printed by Beaudesert Times Pty Ltd. We use 100 per cent recycled paper and soy based inks to help minimise our impacts.
ECO online is an extension of the print version and has the added benefit of reaching the online audience outside of the Sunshine Coast. ECO online highlights special features and news and introduces links for further reading or research and at the same time allows active reader feedback.
